Mitchell Places 9th at State Golf
WIAA called the State Golf meet for rain and decided Division 2 & 3 would be scored on 27 holes vs 36. Mineral Point’s Simon Mitchell shot even par on his 2nd day front nine ending his State experience in 9th place (out of 52 golfers).
Rury Earns Bronze at State Special Olympics
Kudos to 8th Grader AJ Rury for earning two bronze medals at the State Special Olympics in Stevens Point! AJ placed 3rd in both the shot put and the 100 m run.
Poad Wins State Discus Title
Mineral Point Middle School was represented at the Wisconsin Middle School Championship Track Meet on Saturday, May 18th in Waupun by Livie Poad, Joey Robinson, Annie Robinson, and Ellie Robinson.
