Monday evening, the Mineral Point School Board held a special meeting to discuss current quarantine guidelines, as well as spectators for the WIAA Sectional Wrestling meet MP is hosting Saturday.

No action was taken to change the current quarantine guidelines being followed by the district. Currently, the district follows Iowa County Health Department, Wisconsin Department of Health Services, and the Center for Disease Control guidelines for the safest option of a 14 day quarantine. The Board voted 6-1 (with Nate Chambers voting no) to allow two spectator tickets per participating wrestling family for Saturday’s WIAA Sectional meet hosted in Mineral Point.
