Mineral Point High School inducted new members into the Al Bauman Wrestling Hall of Fame Friday, December 20 during the match vs. Belmont-Platteville.

Todd Doney

Todd’s accomplishments include:

Todd started wrestling in the Mineral Point Youth Program in 1967. He has remained an active member and supporter of the Mineral Point Wrestling Program for over 50 years.

Todd and his wife, Cindy, of 40 years reside in Mineral Point and have three sons and one grandchild.

Todd’s son, Bo, also wrestled for Mineral Point and was a WIAA State Place Winner.

Matthew was an assistant coach with Madison West High School in 2012 and 2013 while in medical school. He currently resides in Milwaukee with his wife, Julia, and son, Samuel. Matthew is an attending physician with Aurora Healthcare after completing his medical training in Female Urology/Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery.

Troy Pittz

Troy started wrestling in the Mineral Point Youth Program in 1971. He was a varsity wrestler for Mineral Point for three years. 

Troy was a Mineral Point Invitational Champion, two-time Conference Champion, and was Captain in 1979.

He has been a major contributor to the Mineral Point Wrestling Program for over 50 years and has been active in many fundraisers and functions for the Wrestling Club.

Troy was the Mineral Point Youth Wrestling Coach from 2006 to 2012 and served as President of the Mineral Point Wrestling Club from 2017 to 2019.

Troy has two sons, Scott and Danny, who wrestled for Mineral Point and were multiple WIAA State Place Winners. Scott and Danny also serve as coaches in the Mineral Point Youth Program.

Troy and his wife, Teresa, reside in Mineral Point. They have two daughters, two sons, and two grandchildren. Troy and his family continue to remain active members and supporters of the Mineral Point Wrestling Program.
