We put the MP in chaMPs! #PointerNation caps off a historic season with our first-ever Boys Basketball gold ball Saturday, March 16 in the WIAA State Championship game with a thrilling 65-64 victory over Kenosha St. Joseph at the Kohl Center in Madison on a putback shot by Drew Aschliman with just seconds to go.
In the State Semifinal Thursday night, our Pointers had an amazing come from behind 62-61 victory over La Crosse Aquinas on a three from Landon Thousand with just a few seconds left.
We are so proud of you, not only for your efforts on the court but for the fine young people you are. We will always remember this moment! Inspirational!
