Sunday, March 12, the Mineral Point High School Girls Basketball team was honored for another outstanding season at its annual awards banquet.

- Malorie Johnson: Most Improved and 2017-18 Captain;
- McKenna Reichling: SWAL All-Conference Honorable Mention, 2017-18 Captain, Most Assists (85);
- Cassie Bossert: SWAL All-Conference Honorable Mention;
- Sydney Staver: SWAL All-Conference MVP, SWAL All-Conference First Team, 2016-17 Captain, Most Dedicated, Team MVP, Most Assists (85), Most Steals (77);
- Destinee Kruser: SWAL All-Conference First Team, 2016-17 Captain, Most Rebounds (162), Best Free Throw Percentage (67.8%);
- Haley Chubb: Most Improved;
- Mara Aschliman: SWAL All-Conference Honorable Mention, Most Improved, 2017-18 Captain.
This girls basketball team was part of a 30 game winning streak, the longest in the state at the time it was broken. The team also won back to back SWAL Conference Championships for the first time since the 2003 & 2004 seasons and claimed back to back WIAA Regional Championships for the first time ever.
The varsity reserve squad also received praise for its undefeated season this year.
