The Dodgeville-Mineral Point gymnastics team made history at the WIAA Sectional in Baraboo on Friday, February 26.
The squad becomes the first ever in program history to advance to the state meet as a team.
Dodge-Point took the sectional runner-up spot behind Viroqua/Cashton/North Crawford.
Individually advancing to state is Lauren May (3rd in the all-around, 3rd on uneven bars, 3rd on balance beam, 4th on vault, and 4th on floor exercise).
The team state meet will be held Friday, March 4 at Wisconsin Rapids High School with individual events happening on Saturday, March 5.
