Softball Team Receives Awards
The Mineral Point Softball Team held its awards banquet Tuesday, June 7. The team finished 16-9 overall, 9-5 in the SWAL Conference, good for 3rd place. Dolphin Makes SWAL First Team
The SWAL Conference has released its All-Conference Baseball list. Sophomore Joey Dolphin has earned First Team honors for the Pointers. Honorable Mention went to Curtis Cox, Freshman and Cole Howard, Junior. The Pointers finished 5-9 in the league this year under coach Jordan Tibbits, good for a tie for fifth place. Congrats, Pointers!
Three Pointers on SWAL First Team
The SWAL Conference has released its softball list for 2016. Pointers earning First Team honors include: Clara Chambers, Senior; Morgan James, Freshman; and Savannah Lawinger, Senior. Honorable Mention went to: Destinee Kruser, Junior and Carlie Qualley, Senior. The Pointers finished 9-5 in the league under coach Quinn Schultz, good for 3rd place.
Relay Team Wins State Title
The WIAA State Track & Field Meet concluded yesterday at UW-La Crosse and the Dodge-Point team came home with a Division 2 state title in the boys 4×800 relay. Pointers Win Golf Regional
Mineral Point golfers claimed the WIAA Division 3 Regional Title at Dodge-Point Country Club Tuesday, May 24. The Pointers were seven strokes better than second place Argyle/Pecatonica.
