— Superintendent Mitch Wainwright provided a tentative enrollment update for the 2025-26 school year.

It was reported that, as of now, the District is down 12 students (788) compared to last year (800). Wainwright noted the graduating Class of 2025 was 12 students larger compared to this year’s incoming Freshman class. Additionally, compared to last year, enrollment is less in the middle and high schools, but up in the elementary.

Additionally, the District summer school numbers increased this year, which will have a positive impact.

The official 3rd Friday count by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for funding purposes will take place next Friday, September 19. A more accurate enrollment number will be available by the time the Board certifies the levy in late October.
