High school graduated from: Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln
College: Mike earned his Bachelors from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in Art Education. He then went on to receive his Masters in Art Education from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
Previous employment: Most recently, Mike was the Middle/High School Art Teacher at Cuba City for the past 10 years. He has also held Elementary Art teaching positions in Dubuque, as well as Lancaster Middle School.
Family: Wife Kelly and sons Jake (12), Matt (10).
Hobbies/Free time interests: Drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, disc golf, hiking, street art/murals, Halloween, baking, and movies.
What attracted you to apply in #PointerNation?: I have always found Mineral Point to have unique properties of showcasing the arts in the community. I am looking forward to exploring further art opportunities with the students, staff, and families of Mineral Point.
