#PointerNation extends its deepest gratitude to Head Softball Coach Quinn Schultz following the acceptance of his coaching resignation at Monday’s School Board meeting.
Since taking the helm in 2008, Coach Schultz has built a legendary resume, compiling an incredible 319-117 overall record. Under his leadership, the Pointers captured nine SWAL Conference Championships, six WIAA Regional Championships, three WIAA Sectional Championships, and two WIAA State Championships.
His excellence on the field earned him multiple SWAL Coach of the Year honors, as well as the Dubuque Telegraph Herald Softball Coach of the Year award in 2013.
His final season was particularly unforgettable. Coach Schultz capped off his brilliant career with a State Championship alongside his daughter, Jadyn. The duo shared one last milestone together this past June, participating in the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Senior All-Star Game.
Thank you, Coach Schultz, for your unwavering dedication, mentorship, and championship legacy over the past 18 years! (Quinn will continue teaching middle/high school physical education)
