As required by state statute, the Board must designate at its January meeting the number of Open Enrollment spaces it will make available for the following school year.

By unanimous vote (with Rachael Bergstrom absent), the Board approved the following additional regular education Open Enrollment spaces for the 2025-26 school year in each grade level:

4K: 9

K: 5

1st: 1

2nd: 13

3rd: 1

4th: 0

5th: 14

6th: 3

7th: 5

8th: 1

9th-12th: no limit

For special education, caseloads are at capacity in all areas other than speech and language only, for which four spots are available.

The District closes Open Enrollment at certain grade levels, and for certain programs, where it would be necessary to hire additional staff as this would not be cost effective.

The regular Open Enrollment application period for the 2025-26 school year will begin February 3 and run through April 30. More information will be available on the school website at that time.
