The first chair oboe in the Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) High School State Honors Band was our very own Pointer Josie Dunn! After months of hard work, the group held its concert at the Overture Center in Madison at the end of October. Josie was also selected to play solos in all five pieces and was asked to stand to be recognized after each. Brava, Josie! You make us proud! WSMA State Music Honors Project participation identifies Josie as one of the finest high school musicians in the state.

Mrs. Ashley Calderon-McHugh, Middle/High School Choir Teacher, was nominated and selected to serve as the Soprano 2 Section Coach for the 2024 and 2025 WSMA High School State Honors Music Project Treble Choirs! This summer, they completed their camp at UW-Eau Claire and performed at the state conference in October.
