Quotable: “Building relationships is at the core of my beliefs. I believe when students feel cared about, they will work for the teacher. I believe in creating lifelong readers. Students need to find the love of reading or continue to enjoy reading. Becoming lifelong readers will progress students to any goal they have as a student and as an adult. I believe in showing students what they are capable of including as writers. My philosophy of teaching is informed by the material I teach, the students I teach, and what I have learned from personal experience.”
