The Mineral Point Middle/High School Trap Team competed at the Wisconsin High School Clay Target League State Tournament in Rome Sunday, June 12 in the 2A Division.

Congratulations to Brody Lee who claimed the Varsity Individual State Championship for the second straight year, as well as the entire #PointerNation team who finished in 11th place in the Varsity division.

In the Varsity Male category, Brody Lee was 1st, Landon Hermanson 28th, Abel Logue 38th, Mac Busser 133rd, Caleb Wersal 243rd, and Michael Edgington 286th.

In the Varsity Female category, Alexis Hentrich was 19th, Emma Mason 27th, and Emma Steffes 37th.

In the Junior Varsity Male category, Reid Dochnahl was 39th, Trent Culver 50th, Colton Dochnahl 77th, Cooper Thompson 86th, Collin Palzkill 86th, Cole Hentrich 138th, Christian Bigler 151st, Quentin Walter 163rd, Garrett Schaaf 163rd, Haeden Haas 209th, Boden Chambers 214th, Brady Haas 251st, and Garren Dochnahl 261st.

In the Junior Varsity Female category, Erica Rose Lease was 28th.

In the Novice Male category, Gaige Godfrey was 27th, Kasen Knight 48th, Cameron Patterson 61st, Aiden Patterson 108th, and Benjamin Mason 125th.

In the Novice Female category, Leah Raab was 8th, Kylie Bennett 22nd, and Graysen Galle 28th.

Brody Lee was the only athlete in the state to be in the 100 straight club. He was one of five to be in the 75 straight club and one of 18 to be in the 50 straight club. Both Lee and Abel Logue were members of the 25 straight club.
