Winter Planting in the Oak Savanna
%3Cp%3E%3Cbr+%2F%3EThis+past+fall%2C+third+grade+students+harvested+and+threshed+seeds+from+the+Oak+Savanna+with+Don+Hawkins+and+Don+Hay.+This+week+they+bundled+up+and+planted+the+seeds+on+top+of+the+snow.%26nbsp%3B+When+the+snow+melts+the+seeds+will+go+into+the+ground+and+sprout+later+this+spring.+%3Cbr+%2F%3E%3Cbr+%2F%3EAt+the+end+of+February%2C+the+students+will+go+to+the+high+school+and+work+with+Mr.+Robinson%26rsquo%3Bs+students+to+plant+seeds+which+will+be+transplanted+into+the+Oak+Savanna+in+May.%26nbsp%3B+This+is+a+great+community%2Fall+school+project+that+has+been+a+part+of+the+curriculum+for+8+years.%26nbsp%3B%3C%2Fp%3E
