To practice making concentric circles, our first grade friends made these lovely flowers. After drawing our circles, we used black paint to trace our lines. By the next class period our paint was dry and we were able to add oil pastel for color. Students with additional time were given the option of tracing a bee, butterfly or dragonfly to put on their piece as well.
