The Mineral Point School Board held a special meeting Thursday to approve some more hirings before the start of school.

The School Board unanimously approved (with Rachael Bergstrom, Andy Busch, and Joni Heisner absent) the following hires:
- Teela Heiring, 4th Grade Teacher
- Gina Weier, High School Math Teacher (first semester)
- Tracy Wiegel, Pointer Kids Club Director (Tracy will also continue as an Instructional Assistant)
