The NCSSW credential is awarded to school social work professionals who have voluntarily sought and obtained an advanced practice certification that demonstrates mastery of the nine competencies of the National School Social Work Practice Model through a rigorous portfolio review process. The National Certified School Social Worker is regarded as the highest level of certification available in the field of School Social Work.
