Quotable: “I want to make a difference. I always tell people, ‘If students leave school knowing at least one person cared about them, I’ve done my job.’ I feel students thrive most in an environment where they feel safe, feel comfortable sharing ideas, feel included, and feel that they matter. I am a huge advocate of relationship building. As a teacher, I work hard to break down the barriers that prohibit learning. I want my students to feel valued and that I truly care about them as individuals.”
