Let’s hear it for AJ Rury and Jacob Klein who recently participated in the the Special Olympics National Unified Bowling Tournament!
Held this past week in Las Vegas, Nevada, more than 300 athletes representing 17 different states participated in doubles and team competitions. During the first day of the competition Rury, as part of the Belmont Special Olympics program, took 5th place! On the second day of competition, Rury and Klein competed in the doubles competition earning a gold medal in Division 2!
First started in 1991, the Special Olympics National Unified Tournament is the kick-off event for the 2024 US Bowling Congress Open Championships.
