— The meeting began by recognizing the following:

  • Moment of silence for former School Board Member Glenn Kinch who recently passed away
  • State Music Honors Project participants Josie Dunn, Libby Dunn, Abby Webb, Elliott Webb, and James Webb.
  • All-State Volleyball honorees Malea Aschliman and Maddy Kabat.
  • TDS Educator of the Year Nominee Tom Steger (High School Science Teacher)
  • UW-Platteville College of Liberal Arts and Education Distinguished Alumni of the Year Joelle Doye (Communications Director)

(Unfortunately, there is no video of this portion of the meeting due to technical difficulties of the camera not working)

— The Board unanimously approved (with Christie Johnston absent) the long-range capital maintenance plan as presented.

These projects would be using Fund 46 monies, which can only be used for capital maintenance projects. The top projects listed predominantly deal with safety.

Approval of this plan does not commit the district to actually paying for these projects at this time — rather, it is a guide of what projects are priorities in the near future.
