Hometown: Although I still consider myself a Texan, I moved to Mineral Point in 1993. Mineral Point has been my hometown since.
High school graduated from: Mineral Point
College: I am currently attending college for Psychology with a concentration in Media and Technology and will graduate in 2026 at the young age of 43. I plan to become a counselor for children and families.
Employment: I currently work for the United States Postal Service as a window clerk.
Family: I have three daughters who attend Mineral Point Schools. Olivia is a Junior, Keeley is in 4th grade, and Evie in 2nd.
Hobbies/free time interests: I enjoy working out and going for long walks and hikes at Governor Dodge. I really don’t have much free time as I’m a full-time student, have motherly duties, and work. But, when I do have a little free time, I do absolutely nothing and it feels great!
What attracted you to apply in #PointerNation?: Me being a high school graduate of Mineral Point, and having my children and family members in the school district, is what pushed me to want to take on this role as an Assistant. This will be a great opportunity to get to know all the different personalities which will aid in my future title as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am looking forward to helping kids and to be a part of their everyday lives. I am so incredibly grateful for this opportunity. Go Pointers!
