Quotable: “I have surrounded myself with experiences that will assist me in the field of education such as: mentoring individuals with disabilities, providing childcare, and attending events like the Walk for Apraxia of Speech. I take pride in being a personable individual that has patience to work with people that possess all kinds of abilities.
I have always had a passion for helping others. Throughout my education, I was surrounded by individuals who had disabilities. I saw the impact professionals had on students’ lives, and I was instantly drawn to the field. I have learned that everyone, including paraprofessionals, have a role in a student’s educational experience. I chose to join #PointerNation because they take pride in preparing their students for success in their future endeavors. Furthermore, my biggest goal as a professional is to become a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting, and #PointerNation will assist in my development as I kick start my career in education.”
