Ruppert stated the project is 83% complete. The new addition is nearly complete with much of the recent work centered around renovation of the existing building.

Other Business:

— The Board recognized Spring State Solo & Ensemble, Middle School Wisconsin State Music Association Honors Project, Middle School State Track, Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Boys Team Academic All-State Second Place, and State FFA Livestock Judging Champions. — The Board approved by a 4-2 vote (Andy Busch, Joni Heisner, Justin Skelding, and Gary Sullivan voting yes; Aaron Dunn and Bob Janetka voting no; Larry Steffes absent) repealing the mask mandate policy for the district, effective immediately. Face coverings will now be optional and welcomed. (Go to the 56 minute mark for sound)

— The Board unanimously tabled the approval of the preliminary budget with hopes of having more solid information coming out of Madison from the state regarding school funding in the coming weeks. A Finance Committee meeting will be held June 29 with a special School Board meeting June 30. (Go to the 48 minute mark)

— Superintendent Wainwright presented his monthly budget update. (Go to the 40 minute, 50 second mark)

— The Board discussed taking a tour of the elementary school and will plan to do so in the near future. (Go to the 43 minute, 30 second mark)

— The Board discussed holding an informal retreat for the Board to review this year and set Board goals for next year. (Go to the 46 minute mark)

— The Board unanimously approved the fee schedule as presented for the 2021-22 school year. (Go to the one hour, 22 minute mark)

— The Board unanimously approved the credit card statement and bills payable. (Go to the one hour, 27 minute mark)

— The Board will hold a special meeting Wednesday, June 30 with the next regular meeting set for Monday, July 12.
