Mineral Point High School is proud to announce its Top Scholars for the Class of 2021.
Valedictorian Chloe Oberhauser
Chloe Oberhauser is the daughter of Bob and Julie Oberhauser. She has gone to the Mineral Point Unified School District since preschool. Chloe has two older brothers and one older sister that is one of her most significant role models. She would like to thank her parents for their help and stability throughout her high school career.
Chloe will be attending the University of Wisconsin – Madison in the fall and is planning to pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering. She chose this degree because of her love for math and science.
Chloe has run cross country and track throughout high school. These sports, her coaches, and her teammates have taught her perseverance and to never give up on her goals.
Salutatorian Macy Aschliman
Macy Aschliman was born and raised in Mineral Point. She is the middle child in her family of seven.
Macy is currently a senior at MPHS. She is very active in school, sports, and community activities. She is an active member of the Mineral Point Youth Group, Student Council, Key Club, volleyball team, and basketball team.
Macy holds leadership positions in the Key Club as the Vice President and as a Captain of both the volleyball and basketball teams.
During the summers, Macy enjoys working at the Mineral Point Pool as a lifeguard and helping her dad at her family’s store. She stays busy with school and sports during the school year and has taken multiple college courses to prepare for her future. She will graduate high school with over 30 college credits.
She plans on attending Grand Canyon University in Arizona to major in Behavioral Health Sciences. Macy plans to work as either a clinical psychiatric social worker or mental health therapist. She hopes to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
