by Superintendent Luke Francois

I would like to take this opportunity to express my personal appreciation to now past School Board Member Glenn Kinch for his most recent three years of service to the Mineral Point School District’s Board of Education.  Glenn had also previously served on the School Board before my arrival six years ago.

Glenn represents a constituency of our school district that is important to listen to and understand before any progress is made toward moving the school district forward.  As the school superintendent, I especially appreciated not having to guess where Glenn stood on solutions to some difficult board decisions.

I know first hand how much time is dedicated to serving on the board.  Through attendance at regular board and committee meetings, Glenn recognized the importance of education to the community and the need for the district to operate in a fiscally responsible manner.

Glenn, thank you for serving the community of Mineral Point, for your support, and for your candid discussions.  You have helped me to become a better leader in the Mineral Point community through our time working collaboratively together.

Sincerely,

Luke Francois
