VALYA MACGILVRA

What is your favorite quality about Jaycie?

My favorite quality about Jaycie is that she is very positive and she always has a smile on her face.

What is your favorite quality about Sydney?

My favorite quality about Sydney is that she is very friendly and kind.

What advice would you give freshmen about Homecoming?

Be involved in all homecoming activities, enjoy every moment of it and have fun!

What is your favorite Homecoming memory?

My favorite Homecoming memory was my first Homecoming ever when I moved here. I was not familiar with the traditions; it was so much fun dressing up, going to the parade, the bonfire, cheering our boys up during the football game, and of course the dance. It was so much fun, and I will never forget it!

What are you most proud of? Coming to America and learning English.

Favorite subject: Science

Car you drive: My grandma’s Buick

Favorite restaurant: Cheesecake Factory

Favorite musical artist: Bruno Mars

Favorite movie:  I have so many favorite movies that I can’t decide on just one movie but here are two movies that I really like: Guardians of the Galaxy and The Choice.

Hobbies: Dancing, drawing, hiking

What is your favorite quality about Valya?

Her never ending beautiful smile.

What is your favorite quality about Sydney?

Her ability to make anyone laugh at any given time

What advice would you give freshmen about Homecoming?

Enjoy the four years of dressing up and having fun because it goes by too fast.

What is your favorite Homecoming memory?

My favorite part of Homecoming is taking pictures and going out to eat with the whole grade before the dance.

What are you most proud of? Being able to grow up in this community where everyone is so supportive.

She is never not smiling!

She always knows how to make me laugh!

What advice would you give freshmen about Homecoming?

It goes by super fast so live it up and don’t be afraid to look like dorks with your classmates!

What is your favorite Homecoming memory?

Definitely the dress up days every year!

Winning state titles in track and basketball!
