The First Annual Mineral Point Football Community Event will take place Saturday, August 8 from 4-7 pm on the new football field at the high school (705 Ross Street).

The evening features many fun events designed to show the community the latest progress made to date on the new field, as well as a sneak preview of this year’s football squads.

Kindergarten-8th grade practice will be held starting at 4 pm. This is the time where registration fees can be paid that will include a tshirt and a MP football.

Around 5, there will be a break to eat with free food provided as an update of the stadium construction is given.

The high school football team will scrimmage after the stadium update.

There will be a bouncy house for children, as well as a dunk tank where you can have your chance to dunk some famous Mineral Pointers.

In addition, there will be seat engraving options available for purchase, the NFL raffle ticket fundraiser, Gridiron Club membership options, apparel order forms, and tickets for the chicken barbecue August 14 will also be available.

The event will be held rain or shine.
