Mineral Point agriculture classes visited UW-Madison recently and toured the Poultry Lab, Dairy Cattle Center, Vet School, and Diagnostic Lab. One of the more interesting activities allowed the students to stick their hands in the cannula of the cow (the hole in the side that leads to the stomach that is placed in many cows for research and teaching). The visit was set up by Mineral Point graduate, Jessie Ivey Potterton, who is the Director of the Farm.
