Matt Nevers is the middle and high school band director at Mineral Point. Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and his Master’s in the same field from Vandercook College of Music. He is a member of the National Band Association, Wisconsin Music Educators Association, and National Association for Music Education. Matt is a Cooperative Academic Partnership Program certified instructor for UW-Oshkosh, teaching a college level Music and Culture Class for MPHS juniors and seniors. He also instructs high school concert band, marching band, pep band, jazz ensemble, chamber music ensembles, solo/ensemble, and is the Redruth, Cornwall exchange trip advisor. Originally from Howards Grove, he now resides in the country north of Dodgeville.
