Welcome to Mineral Point High School, where our mission is to offer a high quality education that empowers all students with the knowledge and skills to become responsible citizens.
Our quality education starts with a dedicated staff that provides excellent opportunities for all students to reach their potential. We have strong academic and extra-curricular offerings that allow our students to succeed in many areas. High expectations and critical thinking skills help students meet the needs for their own future. We offer courses challenging students to create, perform and excel. Programs like Project Lead The Way (PLTW) introduce students to engineering and design. Our agriculture students successfully compete at state and national levels and our music programs provide opportunities for regional honors music performances. Mineral Point also offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses as well as transcripted classes that provide college credit for successful high school course completion.
Our school offers an excellent combination of size and opportunity. We are small enough to connect with every student but large enough to challenge them with outstanding curriculum. In Mineral Point, we feel that our students have the benefit of a great teaching staff and exposure to many opportunities that will help them be well rounded individuals, ready to meet the challenges that face them today, tomorrow, and into the future.
