The election will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025 for two available seats on the Mineral Point School Board. The term of office for these school board members is three years and begins Monday, April 28, 2025.
Incumbents with terms expiring include Will Harris and Christie Johnston. Both have signed their paperwork to run for another term.
For all interested candidates who reside within the boundaries of the Mineral Point Unified School District, a Campaign Finance Registration Statement and a Declaration of Candidacy must be filed no later than 5:00 pm Tuesday, January 7, 2025 in the District Office located at 705 Ross Street.
If a primary is necessary, that will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2025. (A primary would be necessary only if there were five or more candidates seeking the two available seats.)
