The Mineral Point School Board held a special meeting Monday to approve hires for the 2022-23 school year. Following closed session, the following new employees were approved:
— Unanimously approved the hiring of Brenda Niesman as Night Custodian and Troy Raab as Middle/High Day Custodian.
— Unanimously approved the hiring of Kyon Buford and Andrew Weber as Instructional Assistants.
— Approved the hiring of a new Bookkeeper, pending contract release and notification. Voting in favor were: Aaron Dunn, Will Harris, Joni Heisner, Bob Janetka, and Justin Skelding. Voting against were Andy Busch and Christie Johnston.
