College: Abbi earned an Associates degree from Portland Community College in 2012 for sign language interpretation. Her Bachelors from Portland State University was earned in 2014 in child and family studies.
Employment history: Most recently, Abbi served as the Director of Social Services for Atrium Post Acute Care in Mineral Point. She has also worked as a Sign Language Interpreter in Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington, which she still does here in Wisconsin. She also spent two years as a certified phlebotomist in Madison.
Child: Son: Lennon Ewert, a MP student
Hobbies/Free time interests: Abbi spends most of her time with her son and dog, Wesley Snipes. She likes to go swimming, hiking, watch Netflix/Hulu, and enjoys watching her son participate in sports. Abbi likes to travel and has lived in Oregon, Washington, and Georgia.
What attracted you to apply at MP Schools? Mineral Point has a extraordinary education system and the community is unlike any other. She has always worked with people and children, so it made sense to come and work for the district.
