We are fortunate to have a team of two speech and language pathologists dedicated to serving the students at Mineral Point Schools. This creates an environment where we can collaborate and work together to provide creative delivery models.
We will work with teachers to establish times and ways to work on communication skills that will facilitate success in school. Whenever possible we strive to provide speech and language services in a meaningful environment. Some of the speech intervention will occur as a collaboration with the classroom teacher. In addition, some intervention may need to occur in the quieter environment of the speech room. These times out of the classroom are scheduled to avoid having students miss key instructional periods.
