Hello MPES families,
With the school year coming to an end, we will be distributing remaining student supplies back to families and collecting any school-issued texts on Wednesday, May 13. We will not be collecting iPads or Chromebooks at this time; that will take place at a later date.
Teachers will have art boxes and other personal belongings ready to be returned. They will also be prepared to collect print materials issued from school such as classroom library books or textbooks.
Below is the schedule for families to come in and pick up + drop off:
- Last names beginning with A-G: 8:30 – 10:30 A.M.
- Last names beginning with H-P: 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
- Last names beginning with Q-Z: 1:30 – 3:30 P.M.
To ensure everyone’s safety and to be in compliance with state orders, families can park in the lower parking lot and then they can call the office (608-987-0710). Someone will then collect all belongings and transport them to you as well as gather returning resources. If this day or the proposed time does not work, we can make accommodations prior to the 13th for your convenience.
For all items that are not picked up on Wednesday, teachers will transport these students’ belongings to the locker room hallway at the high school with appropriate labeling for a future pick up day.
While this is not how we wanted to end the year, know that we are doing our best to add some sense of closure online and in person. I am confident we will come out of this a stronger and more resilient learning community.
