Helen Klaas is a 6th grade teacher at Mineral Point Middle School. She earned her undergraduate degree from the College of St. Francis in Joliet, IL with a major in music and a minor in art and elementary education. Helen then went on to receive her Master’s from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in middle level education with an emphasis in middle level literature and social studies. She is listed in Who’s Who in American Education. Helen is the advisor for Middle School Student Council, Middle School Homework Club, and the Coordinator for Odyssey of the Mind. At MPMS she teaches 6th grade language arts, reading, science, study smart/reading strategies, and social studies. Currently from Chicago, IL she now resides outside of Livingston.
