Janis Needham, middle school special education teacher, was named the April Porcelain Apple Winner for Mineral Point Middle School. She was presented with the award by Kelly Riechers, the winner last month.
The following was written about Janis by Dixie Dempsey: “Janis is a collaborative, perceptive and fun-loving teacher. She supports and advocates for her students’ needs while having high expectations for them. She is a problem-solver and has a big heart for those she interacts with. She is very deserving of the Porcelain Apple Award.”
