Spouse/children names?: My children are Sophia and Logan Kress.  Sophia is in 5th grade and Logan is in 4th grade.

What attracted you to apply at MP Schools?: I have always heard good things about the Mineral Point School District and curriculum knowing they want the best teachers for their students.  It is also a school I would send my own children to.

Quotable: I have worked with students with all ranges of physical, cognitive, emotional, or learning disabilities. I’ve worked with students that need a break after struggling with something, so we take a walk around and do exercises or other strategies so we can return to the classroom setting.

Communication is key with anyone you work with and any age.  Depending on the situation, and who I am talking to, I have the ability to be kind, compassionate, and understanding of children in situations, as well as; being firm and authoritative.  I am level-headed in all situations, and do not fluster easily.  I do ask questions when I am not sure of something.  I have a great, friendly, and outgoing personality, and I am easy to talk to, which makes me approachable.  I always wear a smile.
