Mineral Point High School is proud to present its annual musical, “The Pajama Game,” November 21 at 7 pm and November 22 at 2 pm, at the Mineral Point Opera House.

“The Pajama Game” by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross is a musical comedy based on the novel “7 1/2 Cents” by Richard Bissell. The story takes place at a Pajama Factory in Cedar Rapids, IA in 1954. The union workers are demanding a 7 1/2 cent raise but the administration won’t budge on the matter. Sid (David Kelm), the new superintendent, is bent on proving himself after the previous two superintendents left the plant earlier that same year. However, after a run in with Babe (Madison Bowers), the head of the grievance committee, he’s quickly pulled into the labor dispute.
